NextImage 5, Contex 2D Scanning Software
NextImage 5 is companion software that works with large-format scanners from Contex. This software was made by Contex engineers, specifically for their suite of scanners.
When it comes to 2D scanning, three things will limit the final quality of your scans: the document you’re scanning, the physical scanner, and the software used to perform the scanning.
Choosing a Contex scanner already optimizes one of those three limitations, but using NextImage 5 takes the final quality a step further.
At its core, NextImage 5 will maximize the quality and performance of every document that you scan. As a result, your digitization efforts will be more meaningful and the final documents will be easier to read and convert into CAD.
How Does it Work?
NextImage 5 is standalone software that can be installed on a connected PC to your Contex or other large-format 2D scanner. Once connected, NextImage 5 will work alongside your scanner to maximize the output of every scan.
With a bundled ScanStation on your Contex scanner, the software is automatically installed and ready to use out of the box.
Once installed, you can start running your scanner directly from the NextImage 5 software. There are a number of helpful features and settings that you can adjust between scans or set up as long-term settings. Your scanner will continue working as normal, but now you have additional output control through NextImage 5.
